We’ve created a range of effective yet gentle products that are kind to all skin types and ready for any skin situation. All our ingredients have been carefully researched and selected. We never add any ingredient as a filler; every single one has been thoughtfully added for a specific function or purpose.
Because we never dilute our products with water, we’ve made space to fill our little pots of joy to the brim with beautiful, active, skin-loving ingredients tailored to your skin type, which you and your skin will love.
We handpick the highest-quality natural ingredients because they’re high in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Where possible, we always use organic, cold-pressed and unrefined plant-based oils and butters to ensure maximum potency, delivering what your skin needs.
Our range isn’t just kind to your skin; it’s kind to the environment, too. We use glass jars with aluminium lids, all of which can be recycled. We also don’t use any unnecessary outer plastic packaging.
CLEAN | Our products are free from toxins, parabens, sulphates, alcohol and silicones, making them kind to both your skin and the environment. We don’t add artificial fragrances, synthetic colours or dyes, and we steer clear from using essential oils in our products, as these have the potential to aggravate skin. We use only the highest-quality, natural and organic ingredients that are both high-performing and nourishing for your skin.
WATERLESS |Olive & Jean’s products are all 100% anhydrous. This means we don’t add water (aqua) to any of our products, and therefore don’t need to use broad-spectrum preservatives to ward off microbial growth, as microbes require water to live—no water, no microbes!
Water takes up a huge percentage of most skincare formulas as an inexpensive filler. By removing this, we’ve made space to fill our products to the brim with beautiful, active, skin-loving ingredients tailored to your skin type, which you and your skin will love.
VEGAN |The term ‘vegan’ is not exclusive to the food we consume. Many of us spend a lot of time carefully selecting what we eat, but it’s sometimes easy to forget that what we put on our skin can hugely impact on our health. Our products are created without the use of ingredients from animals, animal-derived products or animal by-products. Everything in the Olive & Jean range is also cruelty-free, which means that the final product has not been tested on animals.
