My name is Kirsty. I have a background in horse and dog care and have been vegan for 5 years. I have a 2-year-old rescue Saluki cross called Bonnie. Through caring for Bonnie I experienced a number of challenges, one of which was finding strong, durable leather substitute training equipment such as collars, leads and long-lines, which were also comfortable for her and ‘grippy’ for me to hold. Unable to find what I was looking for, I decided to make my own. Some friends who are dog-trainers and their clients liked the material and asked me to make them some bespoke collars and leads.
